Inspiration came to me while on vacation in #tofino this summer 2023 with my annual friends and family camping trip at @surfgrove on Cox Bay. At a crab boil dinner my dear friend and bandmate Dan Bouchard gave his review of the meal and this song was born. Written on the beach of #coxsbay in #tofinobc with dear friends throwing in words, 1liners, ideas, and giving reassurance to my creative choices, while the kiddos asked "why" to every creative choice😂. Covered in sand, good vibes and sunshine. This song will now be included on my solo album which is set to be released in 2024. This was my scratch track version, which I typically never share but I was feeling inspired with the song, the moment and the video footage I took that I couldn't resist doing this very DIY musician version of it. Can't wait to lay it down with the band and see the life it takes on once the band get their hands on it.
